East India Debates 2025

19th East India Debates 2025 was held from July 13 to July 15 on campus in which twelve schools participated with over fifty participants.

Debates took place in WSDC style (World Schools Debating Championship) on topics ranging from Art and Popular Culture, Eco-tourism, Mental Health and Femininity. The Final round of the debating competition was held between The Shri Ram School and the host school on the topic- ‘This House opposes the romanticisation of youth’.

Results of the debate are as follows:

Most Promising Speaker- Natasha Billimoria

Best Speaker- Aliden Ovung

Best Speaker of the Tournament- Govind Keshari (Sunbeam English School)

Runners Up- The Shri Ram School

Winner- The Assam Valley School
