Inter-House Upper School English Debates 2025

Inter-House Upper House English Debates were held from 2nd to 6th September, 2025 in parliamentary WSDC (World Schools Debating Championships) format putting forward their ideas in cogent and coherent manner across three preliminary rounds.

The finals were held between Jinari-Manas and Bhoroli-Lohit on the topic- ‘This House supports India’s pivot in foreign policy doctrine towards military retaliation over strategic restraint’ where speakers cited examples from History to validate their arguments.

Most Promising Speaker- Zerayah Cadessa Syiem

Best Speaker- Aliden Ovung

Most Promising Speaker (Tournament) – Tanveer Ahmed

Best Speaker (Tournament)- Khushi Todi

First Position- Bhoroli-Lohit

Second Position- Jinari-Manas

Third Position- Subansiri-Namdang
