BSAI Workshop
Host School: Selaqui International School, Dehradun
Three teachers, Mrs Nancy Kwan Baruah, Mrs Debajani Sharma Bora and Mrs. Priyankoo Kashyap Das participated in a BSAI workshop organised by Selaqui International school, Dehradun from 28th to 30th July 2023.
This workshop covered various topics in 8 sessions:
1. Role and responsibilities of a tutor in a boarding school
2. Leadership
3. Team building and trust building
4. Communication and conflict management
5. Educating staff on POCSO, NCPCR & POSH
6. Practical exposure to building tutor tutee interaction with new tutees.
7.The role of mentors in building up confidence and comfort in new tutors.
The sessions were interactive and were on pastoral care across schools in the country.
