A health camp was organized by The Assam Valley School’s Social Service League in collaboration with ex-students from the field of medicine at Uttar Rongagora Gaon on March 1, 2025.
Special initiatives were taken by these alumni doctors who catered to the medical and health needs of approximately 200 residents in and around the village. While early cases of hypertension, diabetes and malnutrition were detected, free medicines were also distributed. The villagers were counselled on the importance of hygiene, nutrition and regular health checkups. .
