STORYTELLING SESSION
-Classes 5 & 6 of
The Assam Valley School-
The AVS Library Committee organised a storytelling session for the students of classes 5 & 6 on Monday, 5 July 2021.
The session was conducted by Global Hunt Foundation (GHF), Bangalore. All the students took part with great interest and the storyteller, Ms Megha Kaushik engaged our students through the tale of ‘Wadiya Singh Visits Planet Sparkle’ where Wadiya Singh who is one of us from our Planet Earth ends up meeting Zazoo, an alien who landed on Earth from his Planet Sparkle.
This book presented
several social messages such as: How healthy food needs to be adopted for a healthy lifestyle, why plastic bags should be completely banned from our planet to ensure an environment-friendly life and the importance of planting trees, including activities that are more one with nature and other issues like pollution and how the choices we make in our daily life can help make the earth a better place to live.
