On 15th May, The Assam Valley School came alive with the vibrant spirit of Rongali Bihu, celebrating the rich culture, traditions, and togetherness of Assam.

The day began with a special morning assembly dedicated to the essence and significance of Bihu, spreading joy and cultural awareness among students. The celebrations continued with the sharing of traditional Assamese delicacies like pitha and ladu during break share, bringing smiles and warmth to everyone.

The festivities culminated in a spectacular cultural evening that beautifully showcased the traditional dance forms of the North East along with an elegant ramp walk featuring the graceful Assamese attire — the timeless Mekhla Sador.
